Dad Goes Away...

...and the kids play! We played Ticket to Ride on Sunday. We haven't played it in awhile, but we've been playing Colt Express a lot. In Colt Express, you have characters, so the kids each drew and cut out a character they could use in Ticket to Ride. Luckily I was able to distract them enough that they forgot to use them. 😄

Saturday at the Elementary School

On Saturday, we went to Naomi's volleyball game. Then we came home and did chores followed by a picnic on our front lawn. After that we walked along a hiking trail passed the lake and through the woods to the children's elementary school. There's a walking path there with a grassy area. We played volleyball, soccer, and football for a little bit. Then we headed to the playground. It was a fun day!
