Some friends on Facebook requested pictures of chore charts I just barely made for the kids. Since I was uploading them anyway, I decided to stick them on here also. We're starting slowly with small "chores" (ie normal daily tasks) to get them used to it. Then the hard labor will start. Hehe.

Hi Val, sounds like you all are doing well, good luck with the delivery.
Love the chore charts, thanks for the idea!
Those look great! I'm totally going to copy your idea. What chores do you have your kids do? I'm looking for ideas.... Thanks!
I've done chore charts too and they were a big hit! they weren't NEARLY as cute and fun as yours though. And I didn't put a Mom's choice on it, it was just the basic morning routine: make bed, use potty, eat breakfast, get dressed (including hair, shoes, etc.). I like yours a lot better. I can't read the bottom choice, but for others that maybe can't read any Gabe's are make bed, Mom's choice, get dressed, pick up, brush teeth, and...? Also why is the bottom orange? does that mean something? One thing I did do and recommend for young chore charts is finding some kind of clip art or simple picture to go with the words as they are learning to read, etc. You're awesome Val! Sorry to write so much, and I'm SO excited for you and your soon to be baby!!! You are the bomb! I'm sorry but I have to write one last thing. Along with these chore charts you should teach them the chore song you sang growing up (at least I think it was from you, or maybe it was a different song but still similar idea): When my mother calls me, quickly I'll run away. For mother is a slave driver each and every day. haha isn't it nice that the tables have turned and we're the slave drivers now. ok I'm done. sorry for the email like comment.
