Never the norm around here

How many ways are there, you may ask, to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? I'm sure kids can come up with scads of ideas. Naomi has opted for the version where you open the sandwich, lick the contents off the bread, and then discard the bread. I think it was her way to protest against crusts, because once we started cutting off the crusts, she began eating pb&j the traditional way (yes, including the bread!).

Ooops, another habit she may have picked up from Jack. He prefers to eat 'open-faced' PB&J and typically does not finish all the bread...! Sorry! Haha!

How funny! This one is probably preferable to the other habit (trying to stand up while peeing!). Luckily she seemed convinced that sitting down is the best way for her to pee and hasn't tried standing up anymore. :)

Kaiya does/did the same thing. How does she know not to like crust, I eat my crust? You are a nice mommy and cut it off...I'm not so nice :)

My boys open their sandwiches and use their fingers to scrape off all the pb&j goodness, and lick their fingers off. It really maximizes the stickiness. We're working on using manners...
