Merrells visit Georgia

Matt's parents and sister came to visit us at the end of May. 

We visited the Georgia Aquarium, the park, the swimming pool, and just had lots of fun.

In the midst of all the fun, we got a whopping two pictures with our guests actually in the pictures. Good thing we went to visit them right after this and got some more pictures while we were in their neck of the woods!

Get a degree, and we'll feed you cake. :)

 Matt successfully defended his dissertation and was considered done with his PhD from the University of Arizona in January 2011. He would have walked in the May Commencement, though, and he was unable to attend that. We also have a friend here who finished her Bachelor's degree from BYU and also missed her May Commencement exercises. 

So we had a combined party for the two of them!
